  Our school is about to embark on a special project called
  #OneBookConnects!
  We’re all going to read the same book together, along with schools and families across the country. Reading this book together will enable your family to share and our school community to connect.
  The book is Kenny and the Dragon, by Tony DiTerlizzi. You are going to love sweet, bookish Kenny Rabbit and his new friend, Grahame (like the cracker!), the Renaissance dragon!
  You’ll be receiving a copy of the book, along with a tailored 2-week reading schedule–reading starts on April 19th.
  Generally you will be asked to read about 15 minutes per night together. Your family can also participate in a Nationwide Kenny and the Dragon Social Media Contest provided by Read to Them. You will find daily questions and activities on the Read to Them social media channels and website. Your student can share and engage with other students in our school community and across the nation. Students, families, and schools can all win prizes provided by various sponsors–including a Grand Prize for one family and one school.
  Let’s all use the deep friendship of a rabbit and a dragon
  to read together and connect!
