Cardinal of the Month
Every month teacher's nominate one student in their class that exhibits the assigned characteristic. Encore teachers vote on finalists at each grade level. 
All nominees are invited to a popcorn party to celebrate. Finalists receive a certificate and have their picture posted in the front office. 
Our Cardinal of the month characteristic for September is Growth. Teachers nominate one student in their class that represent growth for Cardinal of the month, then one student is selected for the whole grade level as the finalist. Help our Cardinals show growth by explaining how it is important to try to learn from mistakes, adapt to routines, and show a growth mindset.
