All IWCS schools and offices will remain closed on Tuesday, January 7. All after-school and evening activities are cancelled. With the forecasted precipitation and freezing temperatures, icy conditions remain a concern that could impact the safe transportation of students and staff.
Even with this additional closure, we want to assure you that we have sufficient banked instructional time to cover both missed days, so no adjustments to the school calendar will be necessary at this time.
While we acknowledge this is an early decision, we believe it is important to give families adequate time to make any necessary child care arrangements.
