Anya Fraas

My name is Anya Fraas. I have been an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher at Isle of Wight County Schools since 2004. I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, and came to the United States in 1999. I received my Bachelor's degree in English and Geography at Moscow State Pedagogical University.

I also teach Russian and enjoy passing my Russian heritage to my son. I believe that it is extremely important to maintain our bilingual children's second language and always encourage my students to learn their parents' language.
