good afternoon this is going to be today pictures of flowers not so much when you set up Who provided the plant after about a week all prototypes were successful in a lot of fun and happy we had these experiences in class Miss Christina and I'm a third grader at Carrollton Country School we are doing a Hydroponics project for the future so people in other countries and have different ways of farming from today the reason for this project is because there might not be enough food for the world in the future and we are getting so us and people in other countries can have way to farm that are different from today some of the things that I learned from this project is you don't have to grow plants in soil you can grow them in water but what you have to do if you have to add nutrients to the water cuz if they grow in just water it won't work another thing I learned is that the plants that grow in the water get this girl any kind of plants in water you can grow like you can grow stuff like lettuce and cabbage in water but you can't grow stuff like Herod and eggplant in water so there are certain things that you can grow in in Hydroponics but there are also things that you can grow in the soil that so there are things that you can grow in water and soil my name is Nora and I did the Hydroponics garden with this is my first grade class and hydroponics is really important because it can solve a very big worldwide that problem is basically in a couple of like 60 years or so the world is going to need so we really need to be able to habituation is it a problem before it comes up so when we did this project we found out that we should grow plants in water and we were able to make a hydroponic plant prototype Andre Dawson made hydroponic Gardens and when we did that we made a system that we made one up drip system and pipe system which is why I hate to plant and you give it support which helps it stay in one place and then you have to water runs through and either drip or strep throat can get the water they need instead of having it have the soil hello I'm sorry Jane I would like to talk about Hydroponics with you what is hard to talk is growing plants in water and nutrients but no soil and why is it important it's important so we can have vegetables like potatoes and radishes and stuff and we can grow them anywhere and anytime hydroponic where I get panic in The Colony Institute of Virginia and how can we have Hydroponics at home we can have Hydroponics at home you can you can use soda bottles and put water and nutrients in it and the plants can grow thank you for having me and have a good day radius 90 and the column is that in 2050. how do you make it if you could nutrients in the water and a ball at the top of the lid and two standard plans put the sing in the car got no start growing and how you are if you blow into the shop at least 10 seconds and the reason why we're doing this is 2 + 20 other than the world will not have enough food to feed everybody so we are making Hydroponics to help people environment to help people eat and keep everybody healthy I learned many things about Hydroponics that was very angry that I was with hydroponic when you take the pH it has to be a certain color is it depending on what color do I need to add more water or more my name is Parker I'm in miss her since third grade class in Carrollton Elementary School we worked with a first grade class to learn about Hydroponics and agriculture we went on a field trip do the Norfolk Culinary Institute where we got the speed greenhouse and taste different kinds of plants my partner and I baby lettuce without using dirt this process is called Hydroponics who said a hydroponic Gardens all around our school to help the hungry how to find something that you without soil inside well let me explain where is the light wire Chicago why aren't you going we made something that we plant lettuce good fraules what cotton balls on top and then put C and that's the end of it and why did you blow through the straw what does that do that's how the plant can get help to grow that's it for right now bye Antoni from Miss Harris's class and I'm here to talk about world hunger which is our project we're working on hydroponics because scientists think that we might have a food shortage near 2050 so we're using Hydroponics to create 4 speed for the world we were working on making our own prototypes of a hydroponic system Miss Harris made us made us draw what are prototypes looks like everyday and measure and measure how tall it was where's the Smiths lenses first graders at first we never knew at Hydroponics work but now we do know what they are
