My name is Susan Spring. I am the Reading Intervention teacher at Carrollton Elementary School. I began working in Isle of Wight County Schools during the 1988-89 school year. I received my undergraduate degree at James Madison University in Early Childhood Education, and a master's degree as Reading Specialist at Longwood University. My experience includes classroom teacher grades K and 1, Reading Specialist for a 4-7 school, and a middle school, Title I Reading Specialist on the elementary level K-5, Diagnostician, School Testing Coordinator, and currently, Reading Interventionist. One of my greatest joys in life is seeing children overcome reading difficulties, reach their fullest learning potential, and become lifelong learners who contribute to our society in a positive way.
